About Me
It is important to choose a properly accredited practitioner. My training was completed at WPF Therapy, widely regarded as the leading counselling and psychotherapy organisation in the UK, with a reputation for clinical and academic excellence. I am UKCP registered, a full member of FPC (The Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling) and of the BACP (The British Asscociation of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
Prior to working in private practise as a therapist I worked in various senior posts in Education and the NHS and trained in brief, solution-focussed therapy. I have had experience of working with child protection issues and am fully CRB checked.
In addition to long and short term work with adults I offer short term, solution -focussed sessions for adolescents experiencing familial or behavioural difficulties. Initial assessment requires a parent or guardian to be present.
